Outstanding Cambridge AS Level Mathematics Results at Alma Mater

Alma Mater International School is proud to celebrate an exceptional set of Cambridge International AS Level Mathematics results from the May/June 2026 examination series.

All seven Grade 12 learners who wrote AS Level Mathematics achieved either an a or b grade:

  • Six learners achieved an a—the highest grade available at AS Level.
  • One learner achieved a b.
  • 87.5% achieved the highest available AS Level grade.
  • 100% achieved either an a or b grade.

These results were achieved through Cambridge’s externally assessed international examinations and reflect the dedication of our learners and the academic strength of Alma Mater’s Mathematics Department.

Young learners succeeding at an advanced international level

At Alma Mater, learners typically begin the rigorous, fast-paced Cambridge International AS and A Level programme at approximately 16 years of age.

Over two years, they progress through AS Level to the full Cambridge International A Level qualification before completing their secondary education. Learners may follow Cambridge’s staged assessment route, completing their AS Level examinations first and progressing to the remaining components required for the full A Level qualification.

Achieving seven a grades and one b grade at this stage demonstrates the ability of our young learners to succeed at an advanced international academic level.

These outstanding Mathematics results also reflect Alma Mater International School’s continued commitment to academic excellence and the development of strong Mathematics and STEM pathways.

We congratulate every learner who wrote the examination, as well as our dedicated Mathematics Department, on this exceptional achievement.
