PayGate Terms and Conditions

1. Detailed description of goods and / or services

Alma Mater International School is a business in the Education industry that provides Schooling to children age 3-18 years old.

2. Delivery policy

2.1 ADMISSIONS AND ASSESSMENT PROCESS

All applicants are required to complete an assessment prior to enrolment. Kindly take note of the following:

2.1.1 A fee of R 750 ZAR will be applicable on application (an additional cost for School Readiness Assessment is required for Grade 1 entry, this will be charged by a chosen Educational sychologist)

2.1.2 The applicant must meet the minimum entrance requirements and policies as stipulated: Applications

2.1.3 Entrance assessment will be required. Alma Mater International School reserves the right to accept or reject an application should the student not meet our entrance requirements.

2.1.4 Applicant must be in agreement with the acceptance letter from Alma Mater international School and attach a proof of payment for the registration fee; before any admission documents will be forwarded.

2.2 BOOKING OF ASSESSMENT AND PLACEMENT

2.2.1 Kindly note that an application fee of 750 ZAR will be applicable on submission of this form. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ALLOWED ON APPLICATION FEES

2.2.2 This booking must accompany all required supporting documentation.

2.2.3 An additional banking charge fee of R 75.00 will be applicable should it be an international transfer

2.2.4 The purpose of this form is not for enrolment, however, to book for an assessment/ placement. Kindly note that Alma Mater requires a minimum score to be achieved
before we can confirm acceptance.

2.2.5 Assessments are booked during available school office hours (these assessments can only be booked during Alma Mater school terms). We can unfortunately not assist if a booking was not made 24 hours before desired date.

2.2.6 The applicant will have a 30-day deadline to accept the offer once acceptance letter is received.

Invoices and statements:
These are only e-mailed to the provided account holder details and processed at the end of each month.

3. International Payments

International payments will be excepted from the following providers: Visa / Master Card
An additional banking charge fee of R 75.00 will be applicable.

4. Return and Refunds policy

4.1 Application and registration fees are non-refundable. 

4.2 All other refunds must be requested from finance and comply to contractual agreement.

5. Customer Privacy policy

Alma Mater International School shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from: www.polity.org.za

    6. Payment option accepted

    Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard or by bank transfer into Alma Mater International School bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.

    7. Card acquiring and security

    Card transactions will be acquired for Alma Mater International School via PayGate (Pty) Ltd
    Who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

    8. Customer details separate from card details

    Customer details will be stored by Alma Mater International School separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

    9. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

    The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder in South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

    10. Responsibility

    Alma Mater International School takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

    11. Country of domicile

    This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Alma Mater International School chooses as its domicilium citadi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other decuments or communication of whatsoever nature, 1 Coronation Road, Krugersdorp.

    12. Variation

    Alma Mater International School may, in its sole discretion change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
